So, to celebrate Mike and I went out for Dinner and a Movie.
At first we wanted to do something low key and very casual, so we left the house in shorts and jeans, and realized that 10th anniversary deserves more attention than that. So, we circled back home, got dressed up and went back out!
We went to Moonstruck, a restaurant in Asbury Park that Dan recommended. The restaurant is a restored Victorian house with wrap around porches. We sat on the second floor porch overlooking the lake, very romantic and appearantly very popular destination for couples celebrating anniversaries! Next to us sat a couple celebrating their 49th wedding anniversary, and next to them another couple celebrating their 16th wedding anniversary! The food was unbelievable, very tasty and the service was good too! After dinner we went to get some after dinner drinks at Friday's and then went to the movies to see the Sex in the City 2!
It feels so good to know that after 10 years being married we are still so happy and like spending time together just like when we first met! :)
