July 4th Celebrations

After my birthday weekend getaway, we still had the Independence Day to celebrate! On July 3rd we went to the Mayor Pat Menna’s Kaboom party in Red Bank to watch the fireworks. It was raining on and off all day, but that didn’t stop the show. Red Bank hosts New Jersey’s largest fireworks display every July 3rd and we got the best view in town from the balcony overlooking the Navesink! It was a fun night out! On July 4th, our friends Irina and Vadik came down for an afternoon and we all went to Long Branch in the evening to watch the fireworks at the beach. We picked up Joan and David on the way to the beach, it was another fun night!
