I made a four layer white cake with raspberry and chocolate mouse filling, and frosted it with the vanilla buttercream icing. I'm not a huge fan of the way this icing tastes, but it is easy to work with because it doesn't melt at room temperature.
Yesterday was Indira's one year anniversary since she came to US. I dedicated this cake to her :) We had a mini celebration when I got back from class. We had cake and a glass of wine. The cake tasted really good, but I think I'll need more practice decorating.. See for yourself :)

I guess we were all too anxious to taste it :)
