Home grown watermelons!!

Fall is my favorite for many reasons, and one of them is eating freshly picked fruits and vegetables. This year we again grew watermelons in our garden. We didn't get as many, since it was a pretty dry summer, but nevertheless we got one round one and two long ones! They tasted amazing!! I already saved some seeds so that we can plant the same varieties again next year :)





I really love gardening. This weekend Katelyn and I spend about two hours in the garden pulling stuff that's done, and preparing the soil for the next round. Katelyn behaved pretty well, she kept herself busy eating raspberries and tomatoes, and then playing in the dirt.. Luckily she didn't put any of it in her mouth!

I planted more lettuce and radishes for the fall, and also some garlic. This is the first year that I'm trying to do garlic, let's see how it comes out.
