Spring is here!

First of all, Katelyn will be 9 months old in 2 days! I can't believe it's almost time to start planning her first birthday party! She's growing up so fast! She finally cut 3 teeth on top (both of the front ones and one next to it), she's got one other one that's almost out, but not yet..

She's learning so many things.. She's a super fast crawler now, cruises holding on to furniture, especially by the couch and has even made it up the whole flight of stairs (with me right behind her of course). She's not one to sit still and everything she finds she wants to put in her mouth.



On the other note, Spring is here :) And we certainly felt it - 70F degree weather all weekend, so we got to do quite a bit of yard work this weekend. Katelyn got to play on the grass for the first time. She was so curious as always, didn't want to stay on her blanket, crawled on the grass and of course tried to eat some as well!

She also went on her first wagon ride with Ashley! She sat like a big girl and Mike took them for our usual loop around the neighborhood.



Ashley thoroughly enjoyed the outside too :) She was a big helper in my garden, trying to help me pull weeds and rake the soil. She also had a blast with Liam and Emma. It's so cute to hear them have conversations, deciding what they are going to do and where to play. We are very lucky to have such great neighbors right next door!

Also, Ashley got to eat lunch outside at her little picnic table. Katelyn really wanted to join her. She kept trying to "swipe" Ashley's cup and food. It's cute to watch them interact. Katelyn wants to do everything Ashley does, and follows her around like her little tail. No one can make Katelyn laugh as hard as Ashley can :) Can't wait until Katelyn is a bit older so Ashley can enjoy Katelyn's company as much as she enjoys her's!
