Today was Mike's 33 birthday and Katelyn turned 8 months old!
Many great things to celebrate.. we had a nice family dinner, followed by tiramisu for desert, Mike and Ashley blew out the candles on the cake, opened presents and watched Ashley and Katelyn being themselves :)
Katelyn is really getting to be a big girl she's reached so many milestones in such a short period of time that we are just overwelmed with excitement!
Yesterday she was doing the army crawl and today out of nowhere she decided she wants to crawl on all fours! She's so good at it as if she's been doing this for a while.. Pretty amazing! (She can also go from crawling to sitting position pretty easily!)
Also, today we spotted Katelyn's second tooth on the bottom! We know it's been bothering her for a while, so it's nice to see that it's finally out..
Also, this week we introduced Katelyn to rice krispy cereal. She got to practice picking up the bits of the cereal with her hand and feeding herself. Definitely a quick learner, she quickly figured out how to pick it up and get it in her mouth. I think she liked the taste. And it's a great way to keep her occupied!
From the first look of it, she appears to be a righty! Ashley showed signs of being a lefty very early on.. so we were curious to see if both of them would be the same.
I guess they won't be sharing softball mits, golf clubs or scissors..
I'll post the videos of Katelyn's accomplishments hopefully tomorrow.
